About the Chapter

The IIChE Student Chapter provides chemical engineering undergraduates with access to the premier professional body of chemical engineers in India. It emphasizes sustainable green processing, refinery operations, effluent treatment technologies, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

Core Objectives & Mission

Expose students to industrial process equipment and petrochemical refinery operations.

Conduct national technical symposiums such as the CHEM-CAR competition.

Facilitate research presentations at SCHEMCON (Students Chemical Engineering Congress).

Promote effluent zero-discharge environmental engineering solutions.

Design and calibration of chemically fueled autonomous vehicles governed by controlled stoichiometric reactions.

Industrial Field Visit: GAIL & IOCL Terminals

Live inspection of distillation towers, heat exchanger trains, and automated DCS control panels.
